Salt opened its doors in March 2017 by leading chef and former Observer Food Monthly young chef of the year – Paul Foster. Since then the restaurant has gone from strength to strength winning Best New Entry at Waitrose’s The Good Food Guide 2018 Editors’ Awards.

Located in picturesque Stratford Upon Avon, salt is Foster’s first solo restaurant, in collaboration with his wife and business partner Rhiain. His seasonal a la carte, tasting and Sunday lunch menus all feature his signature style of cooking, taking humble ingredients and giving them a gastronomic twist.
